INSURANCE LEGISLATORS FOUNDATION RFP The Insurance Legislators Foundation has released a Request For Proposal (RFP) for an Insurance Market Conduct Examination Public Policy Review. The proposed Public Policy Review would focus on the market conduct examination activities of insurance regulatory authorities of the 50 states, with emphasis on their difference and similarities. Once completed, the Public Policy Review would educate and inform state legislators on public policy issues arising from market conduct activities. Legislators developed ideas for the review following a market conduct panel discussion at the NCOIL Spring Meeting. Interested parties may obtain copies of the RFP from the Insurance Legislators Foundation administrative office at (518) 449-4698 or on the NCOIL website at www.ncoil,org. The submission deadline is October 30, 1998. The Insurance Legislators Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) tax-qualified non-profit corporation. The foundations purpose is to provide a public service in the form of non-partisan research and technical information to state governments by educating and informing state legislators on public policy issues arising from insurance-related legislation and regulation.
